Meet at the designated pick-up point in Nairobi and enjoy a scenic drive toward the Aberdares. Snacks will be provided during the journey as you prepare for the day’s adventure.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by experienced guides who will offer a briefing on the forest, the trail, and safety measures. This is an excellent time to interact with other participants before the hike begins.
The hike begins with a walk through the bamboo forest, offering cool air and a serene environment. The trail is moderately challenging, with a mix of uphill climbs, river crossings, and beautiful forest paths. Along the way, you’ll enjoy stunning views of the Aberdare Ranges.
Take a short break at the first of Ragia’s cascading waterfalls. This is a perfect spot for photos, networking, and a quick group activity to get everyone energized.
Reach the majestic Ragia Waterfalls, a highlight of the hike, where you’ll enjoy a longer break. Participants will engage in team-building exercises facilitated by the guides, followed by an opportunity to swim in the natural pool formed by the waterfall. Lunch, consisting of sandwiches, fresh fruit, and water, will be provided.
After lunch, participate in an informal networking session by the waterfall, designed to help students bond and share ideas in a relaxed natural setting.
Begin the descent back through the forest, retracing your steps while keeping an eye out for wildlife such as monkeys, birds, and various forest creatures.
